Elizabeth Alfonso

On the 2024 Master of Professional Psychology research team, Elizabeth helped develop and validate an over-reporting validity scale for the Personality Inventory for DSM-5 Informant Report Form (PID-5-IRF). Using a representative normative sample and an experimental design in which informants rated a known target under honest and distorted instructions, the team produced a nine-item scale with excellent internal consistency and strong accuracy for flagging exaggerated informant ratings — extending validity scrutiny beyond self-report to multi-method personality assessment.
